Qualifications

• Completion of 15 hours of caregiver training credits prior to the first day of work.
• Commitment to obtaining 8 additional credits annually.
• Ability to follow care plans and work effectively under supervision.
• Patience, empathy, and compassion for residents with diverse care needs.
• Must pass all required background checks and meet state caregiver requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as directed and ensure proper documentation.
• Offer companionship by engaging residents in meaningful conversations and activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Support residents with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and walking assistance.
• Observe, monitor, and promptly report any changes in resident behavior, health, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow individualized care plans and accurately document all services provided.
• Provide transportation or accompany residents to medical appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.
