Are you a compassionate and dedicated caregiver? Village Caregiving - Bowling Green is seeking a reliable and experienced In Home Caregiver/CNA to join our team in Lewisburg, Kentucky. As an In Home Caregiver/CNA, you will have the opportunity to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Administer medication following the prescribed schedule
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings

Requirements:

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting with meals and serving if necessary

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day
• Ability to act compassionately and supportively
• Availability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends
• Minimum of 1-year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate attitude
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA; or completion of a CNA program
• Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client)
