We are looking to staff morning shifts in Tecumseh immediately!

Come join our team!! Senior Helpers is currently offering a $500 bonus for your first 500 hours worked! We also offer monthly bonus incentives as follows:

1. X1 - $300 / Heart of Gold
2. X2 - $150 / Perfect Attendance
3. X2 - $150 / Picking up shifts

We offer flexibility with longer and shorter shifts with a ranged wage:

• $16.50 an hour for 3 hour and up shifts
• $20.00 an hour for 2 hour shifts
• $30.00 for an hour or less

We have Pay Active for pay advances!

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
• Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
• Planning and preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders
• Providing transportation to and from appointments
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques

Qualifications

• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Minimum of 1 year experience in caregiving
• Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a vehicle
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Tolerance to small pets (dogs and/or cats)
• Must be reachable via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and emergencies
• Daily access to email, internet, and cell phone
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care is a plus
