Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Stockton, CA is seeking caregivers to provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes. You will establish open communication with seniors and families, assist with activities of daily living, and follow personalized care plans.

The role offers flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment in a company with over 20 years serving Central CA. A valid driver’s license and caregiving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes.
• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families.
• Help seniors get into and out of bed as needed.
• Help seniors use the restroom when needed.
• Perform duties as assigned on a personalized senior care service plan.
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbies.
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home.

Requirements:

• Submit to criminal background investigation (20+ years), motor vehicle driving record check and pre-employment drug screening
• Possess a valid current driver's license, automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle
• Possess PCA, HHA or CNA license or have 6 months of caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
• Possess high school diploma or GED
• Be able to service the Stockton, CA area
