Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Modesto, CA is hiring caring individuals to provide non-medical in-home support for seniors. You will establish warm, supportive relationships with clients and their families, assist with daily tasks, and help with errands and appointments. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

We offer flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and a team-oriented environment with 20 years of service in Central California. This is a local role serving Modesto households.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• PCA/HHA/CNA license or 6 months caregiving experience.
• Clear background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes.
• Establish open communication and friendly relationships with seniors and their families.
• Assist with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organization.
• Accompany seniors to grocery stores, appointments, and pharmacy visits.
• Organize transportation, ambulation and transfers.
• Encourage activity and movement.
• Maintain a trusting and comforting home environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid current driver's license, automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle
• Possess PCA, HHA or CNA license or have 6 months of caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
• Submit to criminal background investigation (20+ years), motor vehicle driving record check and pre-employment drug screening
• Possess high school diploma or GED
• Be able to service the Modesto, CA area
