Job summary

Executive Home Care of North County is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support for seniors in Oceanside, CA. You will deliver personal care, companionship, and reliable assistance in clients’ homes.

Flexible shifts from 4 to 12 hours; competitive pay. California HCA registration is required, background check completed, CPR/First Aid preferred. Prior caregiving experience is a plus and you’ll help maintain client independence.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a California Home Care Aide (HCA).
• Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience or related experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and provide person centered care.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to follow their prescribed medication routines.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Companionship and Support: Provide friendly conversation, emotional support, and assistance with appointments or social activities.
• Health Observation: Observe and report changes in clients conditions to the appropriate care team members.
