Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care is seeking CNAs, caregivers, home health aides, and hospice aides to join our team as Care Professionals serving clients throughout the Kansas City metro on both Kansas and Missouri sides. Competitive pay ($19–$23/hour) with weekend shifts and consistent scheduling based on client needs.

We value a hands-on leadership team, client safety, and nurse case manager support to help you deliver confident, quality care in patients’ homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and work with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care according to the client’s care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and daily activities.
• Provide companionship, engagement and safety oversight.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and fall prevention as directed.
• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation as assigned.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior.
• Complete accurate, timely care documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families and the RNS team.
• Follow RNS policies including confidentiality and dress code.

Schedule & Availability

We are looking for caregivers who can work 6-12-hour shifts. Availability for at least three days per week is preferred, but applicants with more limited availability are encouraged to apply. Consistent availability and the ability to work every weekend are especially valuable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and compliance with RNS safety policies
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities, plus daily access to RNS email
• Ability to communicate clearly in English
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to follow care plans, respect client routines, and work professionally with families
