[New Hope] is looking for a Caregiver to join our team.

Schedule

The hours are Tuesday - Friday, 9am - 3pm.

Job Responsibilities

1. Physical and Emotional Support: Responsible for the physical care and emotional support of clients who may no longer be able to care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
2. Client Dignity and Respect: Care for clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. Maintain empathy at all times.
3. Home Assistance: Provide light housekeeping, run errands, transportation, accompany clients to appointments, assist with medications, prepare meals, and support with general living needs, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. Assist with financial tasks such as balancing checkbooks, banking, or bill payments if needed.
4. Companionship: Offer companionship and conversation, stimulating, encouraging, and assisting clients as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
