Job summary

Wellspring Lutheran Services seeks a Personal Assistance Caregiver to help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain independent in their own homes across Frankenmuth and Saginaw. You will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks, and accompany clients on errands while promoting dignity and comfort.

Travel is required. This role supports clients through companionship, daily routines, and safe home environments, with flexible full-time or part-time schedules and competitive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of insurance for community travel.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
• A caring heart and commitment to serving others.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily routines and personal care to help individuals maintain dignity and independence in their homes.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, errands and other tasks as needed.
• Offer companionship to reduce isolation and support emotional and social well-being.
• Observe changes and communicate concerns to supervisor and team.
• Support clients in staying connected to their routines, communities and loved ones.
