Job summary

Addus HomeCare, Inc. in Rolla, MO is seeking a shift supervisor to schedule and supervise in-home care workers and clients across the assigned geographic area. This full-time in-office role runs Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with rotating on-call.

You must have a high school diploma and at least one year of supervisor experience in health care and one year of home care scheduling. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with MS Word/Excel and a scheduling

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisor experience in a health care environment.
• 1 year of home care scheduling experience.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and scheduling program.

Responsibilities

• Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
• Processes patient authorizations and communicates with central admissions, enters reauthorizations into client record and ensures chart preparation for all new clients.
• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
• Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
