Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering in-home care to energy workers who need it most.

As an In-Home Health Care RN, you will assess patients, educate families, and provide medications and treatments with precision. You will document in our EMR and coordinate with Case Managers and physicians while traveling to patient homes as required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass a state and federal background check.
• Malpractice insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and deliver personalized in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Coordinate schedules with patients per plan of care and preferred hours.
• Monitor changes in symptoms and report promptly to physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with Case Managers and physicians for a unified care plan.
• Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
