Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) has immediate per diem openings for Attendant Care Employees (ACE) in Keene, NH. The ACE provides compassionate in-home support to promote independence and works with flexible schedules set by consumers.

Salary is $22.00 per hour with per diem scheduling. A favorable candidate assists with daily living activities, mobility, and community errands while adhering to safety and care standards.

Qualifications

• ACE role does not require an LNA license.
• High school diploma is not required for this position.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care and support to promote independence.
• Perform range of motion exercises.
• Handle laundry, meal prep, housekeeping and organization.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using lifting devices (training provided).
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Provide community-based support for errands.
