Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is recruiting Attendant Care Employees (ACE) for immediate per diem openings in Lisbon, NH. ACEs provide in-home care to promote consumer independence with flexible 10–20 hour weekly schedules, set by the consumer.

The roles involve daily living activities, lifting assistance, meal prep, laundry, medication reminders, and community support. A valid 18+ age, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable transportation insurance (if applicable) are required.

Qualifications

• LNA license is not required.
• High school diploma not required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (training provided).
• Medication assistance (reminding when to take medications).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
