Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) has immediate per diem openings for Attendant Care Employees (ACE) in Somersworth, NH. As an ACE, you’ll provide compassionate in-home care to promote independence and everyday living for consumers.

Flex schedules range from 10-20 hours per week, set by consumers. Salary is $18.00 per hour. Per diem, no LNA license required. Must be 18 and able to lift up to 50 pounds; car insurance if applicable.

Qualifications

• LNA license is NOT required.
• High school diploma not required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (training provided).
• Medication assistance (reminder times).
• Providing support in the community with errands.
