Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) has immediate per diem openings for Attendant Care Employees (ACE) in Penacook, NH. ACEs provide compassionate support to consumers, promoting independence. Flexible schedules are set by consumers, with per diem employment and hourly pay of $18.00–$22.00.

ACEs perform ADL assistance, in-home care, ROM exercises, light housekeeping, and community support. Training for lifting devices is provided; background checks will be required.

Qualifications

• LNA license is NOT required for this position.
• High school diploma not required for this position.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
