Lauren’s Institute for Education is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Gilbert, AZ for flexible part-time or full-time roles in our Community Department. You will work with learners with disabilities, providing day-to-day support to help them reach their goals through engaging activities.

A typical day includes documenting progress for families, ensuring a safe and fun environment, and participating in community activities like movies or shopping.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with learners with disabilities is a plus.
• Candidates should be compassionate, patient, and able to work well in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to varying schedules.

As a Direct Support Professional working with learners in our Community Department, you can expect a typical day to include:

• Helping learners with fun activities that address their goals (e.g. games to work on turn taking, going on walks for fitness, gardening, swimming).
• Documenting progress to share with families.
• Working individually to ensure a safe, fun environment for those we serve.
• Spending time in the community to go to the movies or go shopping.

RATE:$15.75-$19.75per hour dependent on service, experience and education
