Job summary

Avid Health at Home is hiring multiple candidates for full-time or part-time PCA/HHA or CNA roles in Ashland, Kentucky. The Personal Care Aide supports clients in their homes with ADL/IADL tasks under a physician's order and care plan, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Bi-lingual ability is a plus, with emphasis on HIPAA and compassionate care. Responsibilities include assistance with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, documentation, and client companionship.

Qualifications

• Current PCA certification is required.
• CPR is preferred.
• Must meet transportation, language, and cultural requirements.
• Must be able to read, write, and carry out directions with maturity.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL/IADL support as per physician's plan.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and document shift details.
• Provide companionship and transport to appointments when required.
