Job summary

Strategies to Empower People (STEP) is hiring Behavioral Support Staff to provide in-home and community support for adults with disabilities, including those who use ASL. We offer full-time and part-time roles in the Greater Sacramento area, with pay ranging from $23 to $28 per hour based on experience and client needs.

Positions involve supporting clients with daily living, community integration, and behavior management, often requiring ASL skills and a valid CA driver license where needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma, GED, or Certificate of Completion.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of qualifying behavioral experience (professional experience).
• ASL skills required (level dependent on client).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, meal prep, etc.).
• Support clients in community activities and relationships.
• Assist with money management and health management.
• Support behavior management and safety in homes and communities.
