Job summary

Strategies to Empower People (STEP) seeks full-time Behavioral Support Staff to provide in-home and community support for adults with disabilities in the Greater Sacramento area. You will assist with daily living activities, community integration, and behavior management, working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors.

Qualified applicants are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, and 6 months to 1 year of behavioral-related experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of qualifying behavioral experience.
• CA Driver License and clean Motor Vehicle Record may be required for positions that involve driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on behavioral supports for clients with regular behavioral challenges.
• Assist with hygiene, meals, community engagement, money management, and personal growth.
• Support with behavior management and safety in home and community settings.
