Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients who have autism and related developmental differences. You will perform behavioral support in home and community settings under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

The role offers competitive hourly pay, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth. Travel between client locations may be required, with flexible morning, afternoon, and evening schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
• Travel between client locations may be required.
