Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking individuals to provide in-home support to children on the Autism Spectrum in Seaside, CA. This entry-level role offers paid training to get started, with flexible scheduling for part-time or full-time work.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or related field or 1 year experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
