Job summary

AIT Worldwide Home Delivery is seeking contractors to assemble and install indoor and outdoor furniture and fitness equipment at customer homes. This contract (1099) role offers flexible volume with weekly settlements and potential earnings of 40K-100K+ depending on location and work accepted. Contractors must have tools and transportation and comply with all required insurance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Own hand and power tools and have the mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
• Reliable transportation to order locations
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) and comply with insurance/ registrations
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors
• MVR checks are performed for all driving contractors

Assembler / Installer for Indoor and Outdoor products

Job Type: Contract (1099)

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following:

Contractors to build ready to assemble furniture and equipment- involves arriving at customer homes to assemble various flat box home goods items and fitness equipment.

Product handled can be seasonal. Contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.

Qualifications

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations
• Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors
• You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills
