Job summary

AIT Worldwide Home Delivery seeks independent in-home assembly contractors to perform furniture and equipment assembly at customer residences. Contractors operate on a 1099 basis with weekly settlements and can choose product types to install throughout the year.

Requirements include reliable transportation, ownership of hand and power tools, and a federal EIN. Contractors may need DOT/MC numbers depending on vehicle GVWR, and will undergo background and MVR checks.

Qualifications

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations.
• Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) – This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov.
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations.
• DOT/MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with state laws for vehicle used to complete work.
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers.
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors.
• You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

In Home Assembly Contractor One man work-

Job Type: Contract (1099)

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following:

Contractors to build ready to assemble furniture and equipment- involves arriving at customer homes to assemble various flat box home goods items and fitness equipment.

**Product handled can be seasonal. Contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.
