Job summary

AIT Worldwide Home Delivery is seeking contractors to perform in-home assembly of furniture and equipment. You will travel to customer homes to assemble flat-pack products, including seasonal items, choosing preferred product types to install throughout the year.

Contractors must own hand and power tools, have reliable transportation, and maintain a mobile-ready communications setup. Compliance with safety, licensing, and background checks is required, with compensation tied to volume and

• Must have EIN (federal tax ID) and comply with insurance/vehicle registrations.
• DOT/MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors.
• MVR checks are performed for driving contractors.
• Must be committed to exceptional customer service and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ready-to-assemble furniture and equipment at customer homes.
• Product handled can be seasonal; contractors can select product types to install throughout the year.
• Contractors servicing both indoor and outdoor items may receive more work.

In Home Assembly Contractor One man work-

Job Type: Contract (1099)

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following:

Contractors to build ready to assemble furniture and equipment- involves arriving at customer homes to assemble various flat box home goods items and fitness equipment.

**Product handled can be seasonal. Contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.

Qualifications

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations
• Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors
• You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills
