Job summary

AIT Worldwide Home Delivery is seeking independent contractors to assemble furniture and equipment in customers' homes. This is a contract (1099) role with weekly settlements and a potential to earn 40K-100K+ based on volume and availability.

Contractors must own hand and power tools, have reliable transportation, pass background and drug screens, and maintain excellent customer service with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations.
• Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications.
• EIN (federal tax ID) required — can be obtained at irs.gov.
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations.
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors.
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors.
• You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Contract (1099)

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following:

Contractors to build ready to assemble furniture and equipment - involves arriving at customer homes to assemble various flat box home goods items and fitness equipment.

**Product handled can be seasonal. Contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations

• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work

• MVR are performed for all driving contractors
