Job summary

AIT Worldwide Home Delivery is seeking independent contractors to assemble furniture and equipment at residential locations. Contractors will receive varied assignments, choose product types seasonally, and are expected to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and reliability.

Contractors must have reliable transportation, own hand and power tools, and comply with legal and insurance requirements. Background and MVR checks are performed on all contractors.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel to order locations.
• Must own hand and power tools and be capable of assembling products to manufacturer specs.
• Must hold EIN (federal tax ID) and comply with insurance/registrations.
• DOT/MC numbers may be required for heavy GVWR work.
• Background and MVR checks are performed for contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ready-to-assemble furniture and equipment at customer homes.
• Select product type to install/assemble; workload may vary by season.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and safe driving practices.

In Home Assembly Contractor One man work-

Job Type: Contract (1099)

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

AIT Home Delivery offers the ultimate level of customer care for the final delivery, assembly and/or repair of consumer goods.

Our dedicated teams of contractors offer fast and reliable home services for many high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following:

Contractors to build ready to assemble furniture and equipment- involves arriving at customer homes to assemble various flat box home goods items and fitness equipment.

**Product handled can be seasonal. Contractors can pick the product type they prefer to install/assemble throughout the year. Contractors who service both indoor and outdoor will receive more work.

Qualifications

• Contractors must have reliable transportation to go to and from order locations
• Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
• Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov
• Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
• DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
• Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
• Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
• MVR are performed for all driving contractors
• You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills
