Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking Behavior Interventionists to provide in-home ABA-based therapy for children on the autism spectrum. You will engage with families, observe behavior, and deliver structured sessions in the home environment.

The role emphasizes afternoon/evening availability and potential weekend morning hours, with required immunizations, background checks, and a mandatory training period. Transportation is required for home visits.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or people with special needs.
• Willingness to work afternoons/evenings and weekend mornings.
• Own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with insurance.
• Immunization records and TB.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Available for initial 2-week training (Mon-Fri, ~35 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home ABA-based therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum.
• Observe, assess, and interact with participants during home visits.
• Transport and set up toys and materials for sessions at families’ homes.
• Work within the designated hours: Mon-Fri 3PM-8PM and Sat 9AM-1PM.
