Job summary

New Patterns ABA in Naugatuck, CT is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to support in-home and community-based ABA therapy. You will work closely with BCBA supervision to implement behavior plans and collect data.

This role offers a per diem schedule with flexible hours, opportunities for growth, and a collaborative team dedicated to person-centered care and positive outcomes for clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred (e.g., psychology, education).
• RBT certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disorders, providing behavior supports and interventions in home and community settings
• Develop and implement individualized behavior plans, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and outcomes, utilizing data-driven approaches to inform treatment decisions
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
• Provide ongoing training and support to families and caregivers to promote consistent implementation of behavior plans
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
