Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center in Montebello, CA is hiring Behavior Technicians for in-home ABA therapy with flexible afternoon/evening hours. You will work one-on-one with children to build communication, social, and daily living skills using ABA, under BCBA supervision. Paid training and ongoing mentorship are provided.

No ABA experience is required initially; we offer comprehensive paid training, supportive guidance, and opportunities to grow in a growing field of ABA therapy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home for client sessions.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies.
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress.
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers.
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings.
