Job summary

Family Behavior Solutions, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Paraprofessional to support children with Autism and related disabilities under clinical supervision.

You will implement ABA-based techniques in home, school, and clinic settings, collecting data and assisting with daily living skills to promote progress. Ideal candidates have strong communication, patience, and reliability, along with willingness to travel between client locations and follow safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Previous experience with children with developmental or behavioral needs preferred
• Basic understanding of ABA principles; willing to receive ongoing training and supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with children and families

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA-based support in the home setting
• Implement the client’s individualized treatment plan as directed by the Clinical Team
• Run sessions using ABA techniques and assist with ADLs
• Collect and document data using electronic clinical software
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and receive regular feedback
• Model appropriate social, communication, and play skills during sessions
• Communicate clearly with families, caregivers, and clinical staff
• Maintain a consistent session schedule and report progress promptly
• Attend staff trainings and adhere to safety/ethical standards
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and company policy
