Job summary

Headway Services is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to provide in-home, one-on-one ABA therapy for a 14-year-old, working part-time in East Orange, NJ. You will implement BCBA-developed plans, track progress with data, and support communication, socialization, and daily living skills.

The role offers a $18–$25/hour pay range and a $200 sign-on bonus. 18+ required; HS diploma; RBT preferred; some travel and background check required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field is a plus.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home, one-on-one ABA therapy based on BCBA-developed plans.
• Track client progress through data collection.
• Support skill-building in communication, socialization, and daily living.
• Collaborate with families for consistent treatment.
