Job summary

Easterseals Southern California, Inc. is seeking Behavior Interventionists to deliver in-home ABA-based therapy to children on the autism spectrum.

The role offers ongoing training and clearly defined career paths, with afternoon/evening hours and some weekend mornings. You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, immunization records, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children.
• Experience with children or people with special needs; interest in behavioral health.
• Available to work afternoons/early evenings and some weekend mornings.
• Own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto registration and auto insurance.
• Immunization records and TB proof.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Available for initial 2-week training (M-F, about 35 hours).
• Requires lifting, carrying and loading/unloading toys and materials for home visits.
• Frequent walking, bending and reaching to observe and interact with participants.
