Job summary

Vighter is recruiting a Flight Registered Nurse (RN) for its Milwaukee hub. The role involves providing in-flight and detainment healthcare services to DHS/ICE detainees, reviewing medical records for flying clearance, and delivering nursing care during transport.

The position supports flights to multiple hubs with exposure to field settings and secure facilities. Candidates must meet ASN/BSN education, hold an RN license, and be able to work part-time to full-time hours across shifts.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years as RN in acute, ICU or emergency medicine.
• CERTIFICATIONS: BLS or ACLS required (American Heart Association).
• LANGUAGES: English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex nursing care for detainees and document plans and care.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment (oxygen, suction, vital signs).
• Maintain patient dignity and adhere to professional ethics.
• Document in electronic health records per contract policy.
• Administer medications only as prescribed by credentialed providers.
