Job summary

Vighter is seeking a Flight Registered Nurse (RN) to support detainee transport operations from Youngstown, OH. This role involves in-flight nursing, initial patient assessments, and documentation in electronic health records.

Excellent clinical skills and the ability to work within DHS/ICE protocols are essential. Candidates should have ASN/BSN and RN license, with 2+ years in acute/ICU/emergency care, and ACLS/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service skills and fluent English.
• RN license required with ASN/BSN.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in acute/ICU/emergency.
• ACLS/BLS certification required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for detainees and document plans and care.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment and vital signs monitors.
• Maintain patient dignity and adhere to patient rights and ethics.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record per contract policy.
• Administer medications only as prescribed and per protocol.
• Maintain qualifications to provide urgent first response care including AED.
