Job summary

Dialysis Care Center in Taylor, MI is seeking an experienced In Center Registered Nurse for a part-time role. You will supervise PCTs, coordinate daily dialysis operations, monitor quality metrics, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with CNM, educators, and outcome managers; manage schedules, complete competencies, and support patient outreach for missed treatments. Travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; RN licensure in state.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Maintains state RN licensure in good standing.
• Proficient with Windows/MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines.
• Minimum 6 months hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors PCTs and directs day-to-day patient care.
• Reviews new staff documentation for accuracy.
• Optimizes staffing using DCC Labor Logic while maintaining safe staffing.
• Works with CNM on staffing and schedules; coordinates workflow.
• Creates and communicates efficient staff schedules.
• Performs daily opening/closing procedures.
• Monitors quality metrics: Kt/V, anemia, catheter rate, etc.
• Assists with missed treatment outreach and rescheduling.
• Serves as resource for patient needs and staff education.
• Monitors and documents on DCC Dashboards.
• Performs direct patient care: vitals, pre/post dialysis, etc.
• Documents nursing assessments and administers dialysis meds; transcribes orders.
• Coaches staff and participates in orientation; completes training.
• Float between facilities; travel between locations as needed.
