Job summary

Dialysis Care Center is seeking a Patient Care Tech for in-center dialysis in Hapeville, GA. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision, handling machine setup, monitoring, and post-treatment documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma, relevant certifications, CPR, and comfort with a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates may float to other facilities as needed and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Currently certified as CCHT, Bonent or state requirement if experienced.
• Certificate within 18 months per CMS regulations.
• CPR certification required or within 3 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescribed treatment into dialysis machines and set up/disassemble equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals before and after dialysis and document results.
• Address alarms and ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Assist in training direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
• Notify interdisciplinary team about missed or shortened treatments.
• Perform vascular access evaluation and report findings to RN.
• Cannulate vascular access or catheter care as permitted by state law.
