Job summary

The Dialysis Care Center in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Patient Care Tech - PRN to support in-center hemodialysis under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Current CCHT, Bonent or state required certificate.
• Current CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescribed treatment into dialysis machine and set up/ dismantle equipment.
• Observe machines and water system, respond to alarms and adjust for patient safety.
• Monitor patient vitals before, during and after dialysis; document findings.
• Perform vascular access evaluation and report findings to RN.
• Cannulate vascular access or catheter care as allowed by state law.
• Collect samples and prepare for shipping as required.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures; assist with inventory.
