Community Bank, N.A. is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to serve as the friendly, frontline ambassador in our Ithaca-area branches. You will handle teller and desk duties, educate customers on products, and refer to specialists as needed while supporting a seamless, trust-building customer experience.

The role emphasizes proactive service, accuracy in transactions, and helping customers achieve their financial goals through digital banking tools and personalized guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5–7-day initial training program, which may involve overnight travel; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in every interaction and serve as a primary lobby contact.
• Open new accounts and process transactions with a consultative, customer-first mindset.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and guide usage of features and services.
• Assist customers with issues and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them promptly.
• Travel to nearby branches or training locations as needed to support staffing and service levels.
