This position will manage and supervise the Quality Assurance (QA) Unit which is responsible for conducting qualitative reviews regarding Kevin S Settlement Data Validation Plan, and Quality Assurance, Improvement, and Evaluation Plan (QAIEP) which must take place on an ongoing basis to measure fidelity and outcomes of new practices including Individualized Planning Process meetings, trainings, and screening/referral processes. When not focused on Kevin S Settlement work, the unit will also conduct ad hoc reviews as requested by agency leadership. The unit is also responsible for identifying both areas in need of improvement and best practices statewide. Incumbent will lead the team in creating review tools as described in the Kevin S Data Validation Plan and the Kevin S Quality Assurance, Improvement, and Evaluation Plan, as well as other review tools for any requested ad hoc reviews.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Family Services from an accredited college/university and one (1) year of any combination of experience, including working with communities on health or social service-related matters, social work/case management experience, behavioral health, and/or health care. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.
Work is performed in an office setting: late hours and weekends work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel may be required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints.
This position is not covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
