A leading company in plant-based ingredients is seeking an Improvement Engineer to drive initiatives across their production network in Newark, NJ. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing. The Improvement Engineer will lead multiple improvement projects, focusing on productivity, quality, and operational excellence.

The Role:
We are looking for our next Improvement Engineer (IE) within our Manufacturing Technology (MT) team. The Improvement Engineer will be responsible for driving and supporting improvement initiatives in the Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) network within the Health & Pharma Solutions Business Group.
This position is located at our Newark, Delaware site however the IE will also be involved in network initiatives in support of the Commercial function. The IE will report to the MCC Global Improvement Leader (GIL) and up through the MT function within the Health & Pharma Solutions Business Group. The MCC network consists of four production facilities: Newark (Delaware), Cork (Ireland), Itapevi (Brazil) and Crest (India).
Compensation:
The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $110,000 - $125,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
