The Saputo Dairy USA Imports Specialist is responsible for working with our Suppliers, freight forwarders, license partners, US Customs, US Customers brokers, and others to maximize the beneficial use of our license portfolio.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

1. Maximize container usage of foreign cheese imports from country of origin to warehouse delivery.
2. Maintain and continuously improve the tracking of documentation throughout the entire imports process.
3. Analyze license portfolio and import volumes to ensure Saputo’s ability to maintain our import licenses and those of our managed partner companies.
4. Monitor shipped and invoice quantities, resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
5. Determine, maintain, and continually update multiple license processes and relationships between Saputo and our foreign cheese suppliers.
6. Communicate regularly and maintain strong relationships with customs brokers and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with US FDA and Customs laws.
7. Communicate regularly with foreign suppliers to ensure timely shipment of purchase orders.
8. Develop relationships with Sales, Supply Chain, and other internal teams; support internal teams with regulatory compliance, product arrival timing, and over/short investigations.
9. Enter and maintain complete and accurate data in the Saputo ERP system, updating as changes occur.

Salary Range: $51,945 to $68,175

Salary offers will vary based on experience, education, skills, and training.
