Key Qualifications

• High school diploma is required, post-secondary education preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Customs Brokerage environment, clearing Air/Ocean shipments
• CCS designation is an asset
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
• An eye for detail is critical for success in the role
• A proactive problem-solving mindset

Description of Role

The Import Analyst will ensure that international air and ocean imports are cleared promptly and efficiently through Canada/US Customs by coordinating import and export shipping activities necessary to release freight.

• Clear shipments electronically through Customs
• Confirm entries
• Ensure all entries are submitted within time limits to avoid penalties
• Answer all client inquiries via phone or email in a timely and courteous manner
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, preparing mail, and data entry
• All other duties as assigned
