Airswift is looking for an Import & Export Coordinator to support the Logistics Department to work with a major client in The Woodlands, TX on a 3-month assignment

Position Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented Import & Export Coordinator to support logistics and supply chain activities at the Woodlands location.

This role provides day-to-day operational support for international shipments, documentation, and compliance activities, while ensuring smooth coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing logistics workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily logistics activities related to import and export shipments, including documentation, scheduling, and shipment tracking.
• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, operations, and external logistics partners to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
• Prepare, update, and validate shipping documentation (e.g., BOL, commercial invoices, packing lists).
• Ensure adherence to U.S. Customs & international trade compliance requirements.
• Maintain data accuracy in relevant systems, including SAP S4.
• Partner with the Supply Chain team to support order fulfillment and resolve shipment delays or discrepancies.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to support inbound and outbound shipments.
• Provide administrative support for logistics reporting and metrics.
• Assist with general logistics and materials coordination tasks as assigned.
