We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Import/Export Analyst. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in international trade and compliance. The Import/Export Analyst will assist in managing and coordinating the import and export activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage denied party screening.
• Maintain U.S. customs entry documentation in a well-organized and accessible record retention system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Product HS/ECCN classification.
• Obtain technical drawings and other relevant data to support the accurate classification of parts for U.S. import and export under CBP and BIS regulations.
• Assist the Trade Compliance team with generating and scrubbing reports.
• Import and export audit support.
• Support trade compliance training initiatives.
• Provide support to trade compliance team with duty drawback.
• Contribute to trade compliance projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Global Trade Compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous internship or work experience in import/export operations or logistics is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $60,600 - $83,700 annually.This role is categorized as non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Rosemont, IL and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
