Position Summary: The Import/Export Logistics Specialist will manage inbound parts shipments from Daifuku Japan and other offshore vendors.

Ideal candidate:

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring Sponsorship

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound shipments, coordinate with internal departments on logistics and trade compliance, and ensure shipments clear customs and flow smoothly.
  • Serve as the main contact for external Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and logistics providers.
  • Manage exports to Canada, Mexico, and beyond, including AES filings and trade compliance checks.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project personnel on spare parts and system upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in international logistics is a plus.
  • Experience with tariff classification and international freight forwarding.
  • Knowledge of ACE and CARM systems in Canada.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP training is a plus.
  • Military experience highly valued.
