Job summary

Ivy Computer, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Specialist to guide customers through onboarding, translating complex software into real-world workflows and ensuring a strong start for each client.

You’ll deliver training via video conferences and occasional in-person sessions, become a product expert, and tailor your approach to each learner’s proficiency. We value clear communication, patience, and collaboration in Vermont.

Qualifications

• Experience in training, instructional design, or customer enablement.
• Clear communication, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Solid understanding of Windows, Office, browsers, and business software applications.
• Adaptable to learners with varying technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

Implementation Specialist

Since 1986 Ivy Computer has helped trash hauling and waste management businesses streamline routing, billing and general business management through our proprietary software solutions.

We’re looking for an Implementation Specialist who can serve as a trusted advisor during the critical onboarding phase. You’ll translate complex software into practical, real‑world workflows and make sure every customer starts strong.

You’ll spend your time:

• Guiding customers through setup and training via video conference and occasionally in person
• Learning the ins and outs of our products until you’re a true expert
• Understanding how waste hauling businesses operate and how our software can help streamline their operations
• Adapting your style to each learner’s technical proficiency and comfort level
• Creating and improving training materials, lesson plans, and best practice guides
• Troubleshooting issues and collaborating with Technical Support to resolve them

Schedule

This position is full‑time, Monday through Friday. Employees are expected to work in the office on Monday through Thursday. After the initial training period, Fridays are optional work‑from‑home days as the needs of the position permit.

Pay & Benefits

Pay starts at $28-30/hour, depending on experience.
