Overview

School Pathways is seeking an organized, data-minded Implementation Specialist to join our

Professional Services team. This role is responsible for the full technical onboarding experience,

from SIS setup and data migration to system configuration. The goal is to help schools adopt

School Pathways SIS quickly, confidently, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onboarding lead for assigned schools and educational partnersusing GuideCX and our communications platforms to manage and communicateprogress through every implementation stage.
• Project Management-Responsible for setting deadlines and expectations with customersin onboarding so deliverables are met on time for customers’ go-live dates.
• Perform data migration from the client’s previous SIS to School Pathways using datafiles provided by the school, ensuring accuracy and completeness across key areassuch as student records, calendars, courses, and staff.
• Provide training support for technical onboarding steps and collaborate with ProductTrainer for role-specific training handoffs
• Oversee initial system configuration, including the SIS and any Add-On modules,aligning system setup with each school’s structure, compliance needs, and internalprocesses.
• Configure the SIS settings to support the school's calendar, compliance requirements,and workflows.
• Work collaboratively with Product Trainer to ensure consistent training handoffs andcustomer readiness.
• Focus on customer adoption and engagement during the onboarding process, ensuringschool staff understand how to use School Pathways to meet daily and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot early-stage implementation questions and coordinate with the team toresolve system-related issues quickly.
• Provide data exports and system offboarding support for any school leaving SchoolPathways, ensuring secure and complete transmission of records.
• Maintain internal documentation for school-specific configurations and feedback tocontinuously improve the onboarding process.
• Maintain a collaborative mindset and actively contribute to team initiatives to ensurealignment with the department’s vision and objectives

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years in SaaS or SIS onboarding, data migration, or implementation support.
• Experience with School Pathways SIS, or similar student information systems.
• Demonstrated experience with data migration, Excel/CSV data handling, and structuredfile imports.
• Familiarity with onboarding or project management platforms such as GuideCX orAsana.
• Comfortable presenting to clients and translating technical steps for non-technical users.
• Understanding of school operations, compliance (e.g., CALPADS), and K–12 userneeds.

Location

School Pathways is a remote company. Employees work Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm Pacific time.
