Job summary

Perseus Group, Constellation Software, seeks a Project Manager to guide customer relationships through implementations and upgrades, ensuring satisfaction and on-time delivery across discovery, configuration, testing, go-live and stabilization.

You will manage plans, risks, and budgets for multiple engagements, communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams including software consultants, clinical configuration, technical integration, and QA

Qualifications

Experience managing software development projects through all phases of the project life cycle.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
Understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven leadership abilities and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical skills to assess project progress and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proven problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
Able to attend customer meetings primarily in North America and potentially the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

Project Scope & Delivery Management: manage scope and changes while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
Explain implications of changes to client and management to ensure understanding and approval.
Drive all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through go-live and stabilization.
Project Financial Management: track budgets, report variances, allocate resources across engagements.
Monitor profitability and flag budget risks with recommended actions.
Issue Resolution & Risk Management: proactively resolve issues and maintain risk registers.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: serve as primary contact for sponsors, facilitate workshops and reviews.
Reporting & Communication: provide updates and deliver regular status reports with milestones and risks.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Team Leadership: lead teams across consulting, clinical configuration, integration, and QA.
Process Improvement & Knowledge Management: codify repeatable patterns into templates and accelerators; drive improvements.
