Base pay range

$58.35/hr - $63.35/hr

Primary Talent Partners has an 8-month contract opening for an Implementation Lead III with an Energy client of ours in Belmont, NC.

Pay Range: $58.35 - $63.35 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, onsite role. General schedule could be 5x10s. 10-15 hours of overtime/week.

Travel: May include overnight travel within the Carolinas. Personal vehicle w/ mileage reimbursed. Per diem will be offered if eligible.

W2 contract. Health benefits available for enrollment. No relocation assistance. No C2C or Sponsorship.

The Implementation Lead will perform job scope walkdowns, assemble work packages, and oversee contractors involved in plant demolition & retirement, primarily at the Allen Steam Station. The role also involves participating as a project team member and providing primary construction oversight of installation contractors.

Some overnight travel to other plant demolition projects across the Carolinas may be required.

Responsibilities:
  • Review project scope of works, specifications, and contracts to understand the project prior to installation kick-off.
  • Participate in project planning meetings as requested.
  • Provide input on constructability and share past experience.
  • Support Installation Kick-off, Pre-Outage Planning, Installation, and Outage meetings with project status and updates.
  • Ensure all permits and notifications are in place for construction activities. Verify contractor safety, equipment, and training qualifications.
  • Collaborate with Project Lead and installation contractor on schedule development.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with Execution Plans.
  • Act as the primary site contact for the installation contractor.
  • Perform field observations to ensure project success.
  • Provide or arrange site safety orientations as required.
  • Participate in daily briefs with the installation contractor.
  • Conduct walk-downs of work areas to ensure hazard prevention measures are in place.
  • Hold Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as needed.
  • Review installation contractor time sheets for accuracy.
  • Enforce contract and site security requirements.
  • Report issues immediately to the Project Lead.
  • Coordinate Field Changes and Extra Work Authorizations.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with safety and environmental policies.
  • Follow critical lift plans and stop work if variances are encountered.
  • Monitor QC programs and compliance issues.
  • Participate in weekly and daily planning meetings.
  • Provide project updates via reports and logs.
  • Implement Emergency Action Plans as needed.
  • Report all safety and environmental events.
  • Assist with punch-list development and completion.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings and lessons learned documentation.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of related experience and a 2-year technical degree or 15+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with Green 1 and Green 2 rated projects.
