Job summary

Augury seeks an Implementation Engineer to travel across Europe, installing hardware and providing hands-on technical support to customers. You will manage field operations, report progress, and keep project records in Salesforce.

This role requires strong communication with clients and internal teams to ensure successful deployments. You are the face of Augury, ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting field activities and product optimization.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years hands-on experience in installing or troubleshooting industrial controls, electromechanical, and wireless systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of rotating equipment operation and design.
• Experience in industrial environments and safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders clearly.
• Customer satisfaction focus; represents Augury professionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel 60-80% of the time throughout Europe.
• Install and implement Augury’s hardware and services with customers.
• Manage admin tasks: service reports, action lists, inventory returns, and material asset lists; use Salesforce and other PM tools.
• Assist in product optimization with reliability systems managers and client partners.
• Support site surveys, maintenance visits, and installations as needed.
• Review weekly/monthly field plans and follow Field Operation guidelines.
• Document events in the CRM accurately and address service escalations.

As an Implementation Engineer at Augury, you'll travel extensively throughout Europe, providing hands-on technical and customer support requiring a unique blend of administrative, mechanical, and technical expertise. Your primary focus will be to ensure unparalleled customer satisfaction, catering to both our external and internal clients, as you consistently deliver top-tier service and support, ensuring that Augury’s products and services are installed correctly. You are currently located in either the UK or EU and are within 60 minutes of a major airport.

A Day In Your Life

• Travel 60-80% of the time throughout Europe.
• Communicate with external and internal customers to install and implement Augury’s hardware and services successfully.
• Effectively manage administrative tasks, which include, but are not limited to, service reports, customer action lists, inventory returns, and material asset lists, Salesforce, and other project management software.
• Assist in the optimization of our products by working alongside our reliability systems managers and client partners.
• Assist with project-specific tasks (conducting site surveys, maintenance visits, and installations).
• Review the weekly/monthly plan and organize field activities following the Field Operation guidelines
• Document events in the CRM platform correctly.
• Answer escalations from service management.

What You Bring

• Must have a valid driver's license, passport, and the ability to successfully pass a background check.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in installing or troubleshooting industrial controls, electromechanical, and wireless systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of various types of rotating equipment operation and design.
• Experience working in Industrial environments and associated safe work practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders both verbally and electronically.
• You go above and beyond to ensure that the customer is satisfied.
• You always put your best foot forward when interacting with customers, as you are the face of Augury.
• Vibration Cat I or II is a strong plus but not required.
• Multi-lingual is a strong plus but not required.
• Able and willing to work on the weekend.
